Come and join us as we lift up our God in spirit and in truth.
We believe the music we worship to at Aurora Cornerstone Church has the power to lift you up and connect your heart with the heart of the Almighty God. The music is encouraging and energizing. Our music style is contemporary with a blend of hymns sung in both traditional and modern day arrangements.
We sing with all our hearts because in the Bible we read, "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!" (Psalm 98:4)
We lift our hands in praise because in the Bible we read, "Lift up your hands in holiness and to the sanctuary and bless the Lord [affectionately and gratefully praise Him]!" (Psalm 134:2)
We clap and shout to God because in the Bible we read, "O Clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph and songs of joy!" (Psalm 47:1)
We allow the operation of the spiritual gifts because in the Bible we read, "What then, brethren, is the right course? When you meet together, each one has a hymn, a teaching, a disclosure of special knowledge or information, an utterance in a strange tongue, or an interpretation of it. But let everything be constructive and edifying and for the good of all." (1 Corinthians 14:26)
These are all biblical expressions of worship we practice and encourage at Aurora Cornerstone Church. We also believe that worship on Sunday morning is an extension of a lifestyle of worship we live at home, at our work place and in our community throughout the week.
