Street Sale
For those who have never been to the street sale, there are booths set up on both sides of Yonge Street from Murray Drive to Wellington. It is wall to wall people all day long. The street sale is an outstanding opportunity to make ourselves better known to the town of Aurora and to promote the various programmes we offer. With our free give-always of candy, pop, water etc., we are a very popular booth to visit. It is always fun to see the reactions when they are told that the drinks are free.
This past year we erected a pitching cage and challenged people to throw a baseball their fastest. This year the top speed was 72 mph! That's almost professional status! I wonder what we'll do next year?
